Nintendo is bringing a Nintendo 64 favourite to its online service Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack next week as Pokémon Stadium joins the list of growing games.
Battling your own Pokémon against other trainers is as exciting today as it was 20 years ago. With the original 151 Pokémon available to choose from, I’m looking forward to revisiting this iconic battler from my childhood. Originally released on the Nintendo 64 system in 2000, this battle arena game features every Pokemon from the Pokemon Red Version, Pokemon Blue Version, and Pokemon Yellow Version games alongside a bevy of solo and multiplayer modes designed to test your mettle as a Pokemon Trainer!
Whether battling solo or as a team in Pokemon Stadium, you can do so across four tournaments in Stadium mode or tackle the best trainers out of the Kanto region in the Gym Leader Castle. By winning in either mode, you can secure a spot in Victory Palace but if you finish both modes, you can unlock a battle against one of the best trainers in the world.
Pokémon Stadium arrives on April 12 for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers.
