CollectorVision Games will launch Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan on consoles in February.
The 8-bit adventure is an homage to action-adventure platformers from the 8-bit era with a storyline steeped in Mayan mythology to experience.
Sydney Hunter is an explorer who gets trapped inside a Maya pyramid while he is out exploring the region. Shortly after, Kinich Ahau (the Maya sun god) and Kukulkan (the feathered serpent god) broke up the Maya Haab calendar into several pieces and took four idols to hide them throughout the pyramid.
Sydney embarks on an adventure to find the seven pieces of the Haab calendar and set things right.
Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan will be available at a 30 percent discount on Steam and Nintendo eShop from February 6 to February 20.
