Villion: Code

Idea Factory’s Villion: Code To Launch In 2027

Publisher Idea Factory International and developer Compile Heart’s action RPG Villion: Code is set to launch in the West in 2027.

Villion: Code is produced by Kouji “Cozy” Okada and includes work from artist Ilya Kuvshinov, scenario writer Tadashi Satomi, and composer Tsukasa Masuko.

Villion: Code is set in the near future, where humanity struggles to survive. One day, the Adhvan Resilience School was built to face an incoming calamity, but tragedy struck. This led monsters called Gems to attack the population, forcing the academy to seal itself off in a bubble.

You’ll explore Adhvan City and the Sankhara Space Time, which is a randomly generated, 360-degree, tube-shaped dungeon inspired by Buddhism’s Ten Evils.

Your characters use Genome Arms, essentially mutated weapons, to deal with the monsters that can switch seamlessly between melee and ranged attacks.

Using Ampules collected from dungeons, you can synthesize Genome Cubes to grow stronger by finding EX Factors to enhance Base Stats, grant additional bonuses, and unlock Passive Skills.

Villion: Code launches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC in 2027.
