Capcom revealed that Street Fighter 6 has sold over 6 million units since its 2023 launch.v
Street Fighter 6 was completely rebuilt from scratch with a new graphics engine created by Capcom itself: RE Engine. Used for newer games in the Resident Evil franchise and Monster Hunter Rise, it’s also big enough to handle the colossal loadout the fast-paced fighting game offers.
Capcom’s last financial report listed Street Fighter 6 at 5.759 million copies. Since then, the title has sold an additional 250,000 copies.
In our review, we said, “Street Fighter 6 is impressive both visually and with its soundtrack. Battles are intense and exciting, whether you’re used to classic, modern or dynamic controls. The responsiveness between the moment you press a key and the action is almost instantaneous and gives you the impression that you are in sole control of the situation.”
