Konami's Silent Hill 2

Konami Has Opened a Major Production Center in Osaka

Konami has opened a brand new production centre in Osaka, Japan located at the Osaka Umeda Twin Towers South to ensure the sustainable growth of the company.

According to a press release, Konami Osaka Studio is a relocation of an existing studio with the philosophy of “Creators First.” This new studio is a place where creators focus on developing their full potential with fully equipped motion capture and sound studios available.

Konami also announced it is working on a research and development center, “Konami Creative Front Tokyo Bay,” which is in the process of construction at Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo, and is scheduled to be completed in 2025.

It looks like Konami has a pretty busy few years ahead with both Suikoden 1 & 2 remakes, a Silent Hill 2 remake, and a slew of other projects currently in development. There even may be some Metal Gear projects in the works.
