Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy’s New Trailer Focuses On Fights, Customization, And Dark Arts

We’re just two months away from Hogwarts Legacy, and while the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch ports are delayed to April 4 and July 25 respectively, current-gen owners have a lot to look forward to in February.

Today’s gameplay trailer focuses on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1800s as your character flies across the campus on a broom. In the video, we see the Scottish Highlands, and one of the hamlets your player can explore offering a chance to meet with witches and wizards.

We then see the same character mount an Onyx Hippogriff to traverse a winter landscape.

Further into the video, we see combat, in particular, a look at the Dark Arts cosmetic set. Riding a Thestral somewhere deep in the Forbidden Forest, your character casts the Avada Kedavra spell, reducing the enemy’s health bar to zero instantaneously.

The video states you can use the items like potions and plants from Room of Requirement in battles to make dealing with enemies easier. We also see how the entire pace can be personalized with conjurations from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade or rewards from completing activities.

Hogwarts Legacy will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on February 10, 2023.
