No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files Launches this Year
In No Sleep For Kaname Date, you play as Kaname Date, who once again partners with the AI-Ball, Aiba, to solve a mysterious case and rescue Iris, an internet idol trapped in a dangerous escape game.
No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files introduces a new gameplay element called Escape. Like previous games, the Investigation phase allows players to examine crime scenes and listen to witness testimonies. During the Somnium phase, players enter the dream worlds of suspects and key witnesses. In the newly added Escape sections, players must solve puzzles to break out of locked rooms. By navigating through these three sections—Investigation, Somnium, and Escape—players can gather the essential clues to solve the case.
A day after the New Cyclops Serial Killings case is resolved, internet idol Iris Saganis is abducted by a UFO and forced to play the escape game The Third Eye Game. Meanwhile, a mysterious device resembling a coffin with a note is found in the city.
Kaname Date and his partner Aiba work together to find Iris.
Game director Kazuya Yamada is writing the scenario, and Kotaro Uchikoshi, the previous scenario writer, is returning as series director. Yusuke Kozaki returns as character designer, and Keisuke Ito continues as the music composer.
