Wizard of Legend 2 Hits Early Access Next Month

Roguelite action follows up the successful predecessor

Robe up and get your powers ready for Wizard of Legend 2, hitting early access in October!

It’s an indie follow-up to 2018’s Wizard of Legend, which saw significant success with its dungeon-crawling action. This time, the roguelite action ramps up four years later and brings a different art style.

Developer Dead Mage has seen some success in similar action games and genres, including with the excellent Children of Morta, so despite a new developer taking the reins, things look to be in good hands.

Wizard of Legend 2 Is Fast and Vibrant

Look at the trailer above, and you’ll see how wild some of the action can get. It’s easy to appreciate the frantic scenes mixed with the colourful approach and screens filled with magical action.

Arcana is wielded through a series of cars that have you using fire, ice, earth, lightning, and more powers. Each one will act differently. For example, lightning is quick on offence, while water is a balanced approach. Upgrades can be made as you progress to make arcana stronger, while cursed relics can summon creatures to fight alongside you.

Early access will feature a two-player co-op, with a four-player plan when the game hits full release.

Wizard of Legend 2 will hit early access on October 3rd on Steam.
