Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Adds Chun-Li From Street Fighter To Its Roster Starting Today

A 60 percent discount is avaliable for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Special Edition until November 21st

The rivalry between Chun-Li and Mai Shiranui is getting another run back, but this time on SNK’s turf, with the developer having announced that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is adding Chun-Li to its roster as its latest DLC character as part of its current collaboration with Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise, according to a press release. To celebrate even more, SNK is discounting Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Special Edition (base game and Season Pass 1) by 60 percent until November 21st.

“Chun-Li [voiced by Jennie Kwan in English and Fumiko Orikasa in Japanese], a battle-hardened Metro City agent, arrives in South Town, by request, to investigate the resurgence of an infamous criminal syndicate. Few wolves here can match the strength, style, and grace of this World Warrior—let alone best her outright. Perhaps the only one who can hold a candle to her is the fiery kunoichi of the Shiranui clan,” SNK writes in a statement.

Chun-Li arrives in full force—charging the opposition with signature moves and combos, classic threads (featured in Street Fighter 6 as Outfit 2), and trademark taunts from across the entire Street Fighter franchise. What brings the former ICPO investigator to the sinister streets of South Town? Play through her Arcade and EOST Mode stories to find out.”

Chun-Li in Arcade Mode and Episodes of South Town:

  • Arcade Mode – Chun-Li graces South Town in response to rumours surrounding the infamous criminal syndicate Shadaloo
  • Episodes of South Town – Chun-Li’s single-player RPG adventure center around an invitation to share her kung fu knowledge and expertise with the people of South Town

“After countless hours in the ring, training room, and South Town streets, I can safely say that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a triumphant return for SNK. It doesn’t try to compete head-to-head with the graphical muscle of bigger franchises or shake up the genre with brand-new ideas. But what it does, it does exceptionally well,” Patrick Tremblay wrote in our Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves review.

“It delivers fast, satisfying fights, a well-thought-out combat system, strong single-player options, and enough fan service to make any SNK veteran grin. It’s a game made with love that respects its legacy while embracing just enough modernity to stay relevant. This is not the most innovative or ambitious fighting game of the year, but it’s one of the most heartfelt and enjoyable.”

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched back on April 24th, 2025 and is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
