The first Call of Duty under Microsoft is Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6, and for the first time in forever, the beta won’t initially be on PlayStation. Instead, Xbox and PC are also getting beta participation in August.
Revealed via the Call of Duty podcast today (via CharlieIntel), the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta lands on the following dates.
- Early Access: August 30 – September 4
- Open Beta: September 6 – September 9
Game Pass subscribers gain access from August 30 through September 4 for free with everyone else required to pre-order to gain access. Then, the second weekend will be an open beta on all platforms so you won’t need to worry about purchasing anything.
Then the wait to October 25 will be excruciating if all the new features —like omnimovement, changes to movement, and various modes Raven has teased pan out as well as they sound. Oh, and Prestige is back and apparently better than ever so I look forward to that.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series on October 25.
