It’s almost time for MadLife Divertissement’s debut game, Zorya: The Celestial Sisters, to step out into the light… well, in the case of protagonist sisters, Aysu and Solveg, only the latter can step into the sunlight.
Today, MadLife is offering another video in their Vignette series that introduces some of the Montreal team, some of their design choices and showcasing more of the desolate lands of Vyraj where the sun never sets — until you solve its puzzles! It introduces the objective of artistically conveying Vyraj as a world frozen in time… and overall, just plain frozen. And because Zorya: The Celestial Sisters is a co-op experience, communication and sharing the load is important. Solving puzzles is going to take a team effort. Both points are highlighted in this short video that focuses quite heavily on Aysu’s puzzle crawling.
Zorya: The Celestial Sisters will be launching on February 8, 2022, for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. With cooperation being essential to help the sisters navigate their never-sleeping world, Zorya: The Celestial Sisters will feature both split-screen and online co-op, and the game will allow for cross-play between players on PC and Nintendo Switch.
