It’s time for a new Resident Evil movie, with a new teaser giving us a quick look at the new movie. Coming from director Zach Cregger, who previously directed Weapons and Barbarian, the new trailer gives us a taste of the horrors to come.
The new film is supposed to be a reinvention of the franchise, as it “follows Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who unwittingly finds himself in an action-packed, non-stop race for survival as one fateful, horrifying night collapses around him in chaos.”
Resident Evil features Austin Abrams, Zach Chery, Kalis Reis, and Paul Walter Hauser with a script penned by Cregger and Shay Hattan.
The movie sure looks terrifying, hitting theatres September 18, 2026.
Resident Evil Requiem launched on February 27, 2026 and has since sold more than 7 million copies.
