Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed Launches April 25

Nintendo has revealed that the fourth wave of downloadable content for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is launching on April 25.

The expansion is called Future Redeemed and stars Matthew, the son of Noah and Mio. It is set before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and introduces a new cast of characters that connects all three installments of Xenoblade Chronicles. Oh and yes, Shulk and Rex are confirmed playable! Also, there are new battle mechanics including Unity Combo, where two characters attack together.

Additionally, the Pyra + Mythra 2-pack amiibo figures will be released on Friday, July 21. When scanned, the Pyra amiibo can change the appearance of Noah’s Swordfighter class to match the Aegis Sword. Scanning Mythra changes Noah’s Swordfighter class to match Mythra Aegis Sword. The Aegis sword weapon skins can be used by all players after meeting a condition with a Patch that will be released in the future.

Nintendo also revealed new Noah and Mio amiibo figures would be coming in the future with details to follow.
