Xbox’s Backwards Compatability Is About To Get A Whole Lot Better

Back at E3, during their conference, Xbox revealed that they will be adding original Xbox titles to their backwards compatability (my favorite E3 announcment personally). Well that time has finally come. Tomorrow is the day! Starting on October 24th, 13 original Xbox games will be available to play on Xbox One. These games are already up on the store for $9.99 a piece. The games are:

  • Black
  • Bloodrayne 2
  • Crimson Skies
  • Dead to Rights
  • Fuzion Frenzy
  • Grabbed by the Ghoulies
  • Neowave: The King of Fighters
  • Ninja Gaiden Black
  • Pirates!
  • Prince of Persia
  • Psychonauts
  • Red Faction II

And my favorite game of all time…

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic!

This announcement makes me super happy because it means I can finally dust off my copy of KOTOR and play it again! I’ve currently been playing it on my phone, its not as fun. This is a pretty solid first wave of OG Xbox games being added to backwards compatibility. Anything you’re excited to play? What games are you hoping will be added to the lineup? Sound off in the comments.
