We’ve seen it all, haven’t we? Xbox is partnering with Lynx to create a series of new fragrance just before the annual E3 conference. These products will be available in Australia and New Zealand, and as of this posting, are not coming out elsewhere.
Which is a shame because I’m sitting here wondering what Xbox smells like. Does it smell like a green apple? What about a lime? According to Lynx, they’ve captured the smell of Xbox in a body spray, shower gel, deodorant and antiperspirant.
“Lynx Xbox is a fresh scent of pulsing green citrus, featuring top notes of kaffir lime and winter lemon, aromatic herbal middle notes of mint and sage, and woody bottom notes of patchouli and clearwood. Containing a range of natural essential oils, the Xbox Lynx range comes with a sleek new look and features a body spray, deodorant, and shower gel.”
Reading the official description is more appealing than what I imagined the scent to be like. Since Lynx is Axe in Canada, I’m curious if we’ll eventually see this transition to the West.
If you’re interested, you’ll have to head to to Australia starting next month, as they go on sale in July.
