Xbox One’s First Set Of Backwards Compatible Games

Sometime this week, Microsoft will push out backwards compatibility for a slew of titles from Assassin’s Creed to Borderlands to Castlecrashers. In total, there is 104 titles that will be available on November 12.

Some of my favorites are included, like the complete Gears of War catalog, Assassin’s Creed II, Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Castle Crashers. The full list of the first 104 games is below and can also be found on Xbox.com/BackCompat. And, as I shared at Gamescom, going forward, all Xbox 360 games available through Games with Gold after Nov. 12 will be playable on Xbox One.

There is more on the way, and in December more will be added to the expanding catalogue.

I want to also state that this a free service that Xbox users can take advantage of and makes PlayStation Now feel like a cash grab that needs to go as soon as possible.

The full list of games can be found here.
