Microsoft Announces Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct for June 11th

Coined as a 'Double Feature' event, Kicks off at 1 p.m. ET

Just a little a month before Summer Game Fest, Xbox has announced the official start time when this year’s Xbox Games Showcase will kick off which will be directly followed by Starfield Direct, a deep dive into the first party September title. Both events together will stream on June 11th and are set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET and are being coined by Microsoft as a ‘Double Feature’ for the Sunday stream.

“Join us for some new surprises and first looks from our incredibly talented internal studios and our many creative partners around the world. This is the day gamers have been waiting for to see what is coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass. Starfield Direct will invite you inside Bethesda Game Studios to learn much, much more about Starfield, with tons of new gameplay, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes insider information,” Microsoft said in a blog post.

The stream will be available to watch in over 30 languages and will include American Sign Language, British Sign Language and English Audio Descriptions. In addition, the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase will see the return of virtual and in-person fanfest events with fans having the chance to watch the stream in Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo, Melbourne, and Warsaw.

For those online, Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct will be available to stream on YouTube, Twitch (ASL Stream), and Facebook.
