After Microsoft did its best to keep the worst kept secret away from consumers this long, the long rumoured Lockhart console has been confirmed after a series of leaks on Monday night. The base-entry model of the next-gen hardware will launch in November 2020 and will cost $299 USD. In Canada, the Xbox Series S will retail for $379.

In addition to that, Twitter user @_h0x0d_ revealed this commercial for the Xbox Series S which is around a minute and a half and includes the specs of the console.

Microsoft was forced to reveal the console after Thurrot and Windows Central published separate posts detailing the Xbox Series S, which included the console, the pricing and supposed reveal date. Not only that, but Windows Central believes that the Xbox Series X will launch at $499 US an on November 10, 2020.
