After last week’s rumour mill revealed a handful of once-exclusive games to the Xbox ecosystem would likely be going multiplatform, the head of Microsoft Gaming took to Twitter to announce news would be coming this week.
“We’re listening and we hear you. We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned,” said Phil Spencer.
Now, Xbox has confirmed a new episode of the Official Xbox Podcast that will host Phil Spencer, Sarah Bond, and Matt Booty as they share updates on the Xbox business.

Nothing has been revealed publicly, but there is a lot of speculation on what to expect. Having Xbox games going multiplatform makes sense, and for Xbox’s “Play Anywhere” initiative to succeed, this means we’re putting out games on Nintendo and Sony consoles.
We’ll report back once the news is confirmed – but if the February Nintendo Direct is happening this week, having the two events on the same day should ease the blow.
