WorldGaming is hosting another tournament for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in June this year. Registration is now open for those who want to play with their squad.
Open to players in the United States and Canada in squads of five, the tournament will pit team-against-team as they compete for a $25,000 grand prize. The winning team will also receive a trip to attend and compete in CWL Anaheim Open, from June 14 – 16, 2019 – and of course the WorldGaming Network Championship title.
“This is our fourth annual Call of Duty esports tournament, and each time we’re amazed by the immense passion American and Canadian players and teams bring to this game,” says Wim Stocks, General Manager of WorldGaming Network. “As with past years, we are heavily invested in providing the highest quality competitive experiences for our players across North America. Whether you are fortunate enough to be at our Championships in-person or watching live on Twitch, this will be an event you won’t want to miss!”
Last year, WorldGaming held a Canadian Championship and was consistent with ruling found in Call of Duty World League format. Interested gamers can register on WorldGaming.com and will then proceed through a competitive qualifying process.
If this is something you’re interested in doing, the open qualifiers take place btween the dates of February 16, 2019 and March 10, 2019. This will lead to brackets of the top 16 teams, down to the top eight in an elimination round to be held on March 24, 2019. The final eigfhtwill then head to the WorldGaming Champions held live on April 6 and April 7, 2019 at the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto.
