In just one week, Saber Interactive’s latest game, World War Z, has sold over one million copies across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. CEO Matthew Karch spoke in a press release about the exciting news for Saber and Focus Interactive, citing support from the Epic Games Store is a key component of their success.
“We are humbled and thrilled by the immense success so far of World War Z, especially on PC thanks to the tremendous support of the Epic Games Store,” said Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch in a press release. “Moving forward, we’ll continue to expand the game and its community with new improvements, stability updates, and bonus gameplay content, beginning very soon with a special new mission for the Tokyo episode.”
In Dave’s review of World War Z, he noted that while the gameplay was a ton of fun and high replayability, the short campaign hurt the game.
