With a total of more than 150 million PC, console and mobile registered players around the world, Wargaming‘s World of Tanks is finally making its way to the PlayStation 4! The game’s release was announced today, as well as platform specific features, including exclusive bonuses only available to PlayStation gamers.
World of Tanks for the PlayStation 4 will include DualShock 4 functionality, so players will be able to experience the game on a whole new level, through sound (controller speaker capabilities), sight (light bar) and touch (touch pad support). World of Tanks will also support PlayStation Vita Remote Play and Share Play, including redesigned controls made especially for handheld gaming.
On top of all this, for a limited time only, players will be able to download two new maps for the PlayStation 4! Best of all, World of Tanks on PlayStation 4 is free to all PlayStation account holders, so a PlayStation Plus membership is not required to play it. However, those who do have a PlayStation Plus membership, will be able to access a number of exclusive benefits and items, including a free premium tank with exclusive camouflage, three days of Premium Account time and special discounts on purchases!
