October 17th won’t be just Sonic Superstars‘ day as publisher Devolver Digital and developer Galvanic Games have announced Wizard with a Gun will launch the same day for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
As for what exactly the game is, well Wizard with a Gun is a co-op sandbox rogue-like survival game that sees players go on a journey in a truly wild magical world filled with dangerous creatures and arcane mysteries to discover. If you need a hand, well you’re in luck as up to four additional players can join in as your party can collect, craft, and outfit your wizard however you see fit as you explore the unknown. Those with a creative mind can really make their own unique look not only your character or weapons but your base of operation as you can change up the furniture in your tower home as well.
Wizard with a Gun really emphasizes experimenting as you find the right spell combinations to deliver one that truly will vanquish any foe in your path as you explore alone or with friends. The feeling of exploring the world might not be the exact same for every player as Wizard with a Gun features space floating randomly generated biomes including deserts, swamps, tundra, and prairies.
Wizard with a Gun is set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S with preorders coming with “The Noble Wizard Pack” which features a bevy of cosmetic charms for your Gunmancer. After the release, a Nintendo Switch version is set to follow with no exact release date revealed.
