The latest update for Watch Dogs: Legion includes a new zombie mode. The new update, 4.5 will go live later today and brings with it zombies who have invaded London and are out to make life hellish. Legion of the Damned, will allow you and three friends to work together to reach an extraction point.
In a blog post on Ubisoft’s website, the team details the new game mode:
“London has fallen. The streets are plagued with mindless hordes of the undead. Communication with the outside world has been cut off. Is it some experiment gone wrong? Is this nature’s wrath on humanity? No one knows why the dead will not rest.”
With up to four players, you’ll need to scavenge supplies and head to the extraction point while battling it out against undead enemies. Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead is a standalone mode and Ubisoft promises to deliver frequent updates to keep things engaging. You can access the mode via Ubisoft Connect and is separate from Watch Dogs: Legion.
With Albion soldiers and Clan Kelley hoarding supplies, whether you play solo or with three friends, you’ll need to play smart and ensure you have the resources to survive London. Once you reach the minimum supplies threshold to reach the extraction, you’ll earn Z-Creds and these can be used to prepare for the next supply run. That includes purchasing better gear, better gadgets, and better weapons, with some even only being available for credits and cannot be looted from supplies around London.
