Dotemu and Old Skull Games have announced Warhammer 40,000 Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, a new stealth 2D platformer game set in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe.
It follows Vihneek, a Skaven (a rat-man species), as it becomes the ultimate assassin in the dark depths of its world. It marks the first time you’ll be playing as a Skaven across the entire Warhammer gaming franchise. You’re out to become a Deathmaster, killing everything in your path.
Speaking about the new title, the developers said they are focusing on a Skaven for the first time. The Skaven are many, millions upon millions of rat-men – how do you rise above to become the one above all? Old Skull Games is creating a new Skaven faction for the game, starting as a lowly recruit as you work your way up the ranks. Both stealth and action will be viable on your bloody climb. You’ll be able to work the environment to set up kills, setting traps and tricking enemies. Once the fighting starts, you can perform bestial moves and executions to leave your enemies in a bloody mess.
Warhammer 40,000 Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster will be out in 2027 on PC, Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
