Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is priming for release next month as the remastered collection hits PlayStation 5 and PC for the first time.
The collection includes the single-player campaigns for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Both games are coming with some improvements and are now taking advantage of the PlayStation 5. When the bundle launches, players will be able to pick between Fidelity Mode or Performance Mode.
Here is the difference:
- Fidelity Mode – For those of you who have a 4K display and want super sharp resolution above all else to enjoy the stunning environments and details the Uncharted series is known for, select Fidelity Mode and play in native 4K resolution with a 30fps target framerate.
- Performance Mode – We carried over the high framerate PS4 patch with Performance Mode, which targets a 60fps frame rate.
- Performance+ Mode – If you’re all about the smoothest gameplay possible and don’t mind a resolution drop, try out our first ever Performance+ Mode which targets 120fps* at a 1080p resolution
Using the PlayStation 5’s technology, load times are near-instant now and spatial audio has been implemented to know where shots are being fired, and also to give you a new sense of immersion.
Thanks to the DualSense controller, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers enhance the gameplay, and the team working on this bundle has fine-tuned the rumble and resistance.
Players will be able to upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves bundle for $10 if they already own Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, or Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End & Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Digital Bundle. The upgrade will be available starting at launch on January 28, 2022.
As for PC players, the game is still planned for release on Steam and Epic Games Store in 2022.
