Today Ubisoft was listed as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, by The Globe and Mail. The annual list is published every fall and showcases Canada’s top employers based on: physical workplace, work atmosphere, health and financial & family benefits, training and skill development and community involvement.
The online publication highlights some of the key reasons Ubisoft Toronto made list; including their UbiGallery competition that showcases local student talent, and awards a student with an apprenticeship. The company’s profit-sharing plan and year-end bonus, as well as, the studio’s social committee are other standouts for the company. In addition Ubisoft Toronto was graded on all of the different aspects, and scored high in majority of the categories.
We had the opportunity to visit Ubisoft Toronto and talk to Alex Parizeau, Managing Director, and emphasized the importance of the employees at the studio. With Parizeau’s gratefulness for his team and making the Canadian Top 100 employer list, it seems that Ubisoft isn’t only getting games right but also creating a good working culture. Congratulations Ubisoft on unlocking this achievement, being named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers!
