THQ Nordic and Frozenbyte have revealed Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy which will launch this summer, the publisher has revealed.
Set after the events of Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight return to head out on another adventure.
With reputations tarnished and loved ones in danger, the trio heads out to face the Clockwork army and restore peace to the land.
Using 2.5D landscapes, you’ll explore a vast assortment of locations as Frozenbye states this latest chapter is the “visually richest to date,” and includes a new cast – both friends and foes.
One of the core functions of the Trine series is being able to play with up to three friends cooperatively online or locally, which returns as teams work to solve puzzles and difficult challenges ahead.
Additionally, a new skill quest system is in the works and will be available at launch.
Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy will launch this summer on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
