Square Enix revealed that Triangle Strategy has surpassed one million copies sold across both digital and retail units.

The sales figure takes into account both the Switch and PC and considering Triangle Strategy launched less than a year ago and is considered a niche genre in today’s gaming climate. All things considered, this is impressive for a game called Triangle Strategy — but then again this is from the same studio that named their last game Octopath Traveller.
Still, though, the SRPG genre has had a chance in the spotlight this year with Tactics Ogre: Reborn and Triangle Strategy paving the way for a potential Final Fantasy Tactics sequel/remaster/whatever else Square might be considering.
