Now is your time to shoot your shot as TikTok is partnering with Enthusiast Gaming to create the next star in a new competition series. While I mainly use TikTok to for laughs, you can like make a career out of being a star on the video platform.
TikTok Gamers Got Talent is a search for the best and most entertaining gamer on TikTok. e.l.f. Cosmetics has also joined on as a premiere sponsor, as part of their larger “Gameup” initiative, to support women gamers.
“TikTok continues to be a platform where culture starts and through TikTok’s Gamers Got Talent, a North American first, our gaming community will have an opportunity to reach new audiences, be discovered and entertained,” said Nadia Niccoli, Director of Marketing, TikTok Canada. “We’re excited to have two industry giants in their respective areas, e.l.f. cosmetics and Enthusiast Gaming, on board to support and show gamers the power of TikTok.”
Within the gaming community, hopefuls are free to show their talents and show all the millions (and millions!) of fans what their talent is. The prize is $25,000 and while submissions began on April 27, you have until May 2 to submit a video using #TikTokGGT and upload it to GamersGotTalent.com.
“TikTok Gamers Got Talent marks our first foray into connecting with the TikTok gaming community and we’re proud to be the premier sponsor of this live series,” said Kory Marchisotto, Chief Marketing Officer at e.l.f. Beauty. “In true e.l.f. style, we are going all in – proving that anything is e.l.f.ing possible. We can’t wait to see some bad-ass girl gamers unleash their amazing talents.”
The show is set to premiere on May 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM ET and is scheduled to run for seven weeks, with 20 contestants chosen to compete in a seven-part live stream series on Twitch, with different celebrity judges joining the panel each week.
You need to live in North America or Canada in order to submit an entry.
