Three New Screens Show Off Final Fantasy VII Remake, Kingdom Hearts III

Remember the Scorpion tank boss from the beginning of Final Fantasy VII? Well, here’s what the enemy looks like in the upcoming FFVII Remake.

Tetsuya Nomura, who is the game director for both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III, spoke at Magic Monaco and released two new screenshots of the yet unreleased game.

Look familiar? These screenshots are from the first Mako Reactor you visit during the games iconic opening sequence.

The changes to the 20-year-old game are noticeable, to say the least. The UI looks sleek and there are two tabs for Magic and Materia, which in the original release were the same thing.

So many questions and yet no answers.

In addition to the two screenshots, Nomura revealed one new screenshot of in development Kingdom Hearts III.
