We’re a month and a half away from gaming history being made. The last numbered title in the Kingdom Hearts series was all the way back in 2006. While we’ve seen several spin-offs and side stories, this is the true successor to the story we played 12 years ago.
Seeing the new opening cinematic puts this reality all the more into perspective. We also get a taste of the newest theme for the third game, Face my Fears which features Utada Hikaru and Skrillex teaming up for the game’s opening moments.
I can usually get into Skrillex but this time I’m on the fence. Maybe after a few more listens to the new theme, I could possibly learn to like it. Until then, I’ll stick to Chicken Soup.
