Bristol, U.K.’s Friday Sundae is dancing its way out to us with a new trailer for their paranormal cleanup game, There Are No Ghosts At The Grand.
This new gameplay trailer introduces us to kind-hearted, ambitious, and slightly cringey copper Adam — voiced and sung by Josh Waters Rudge of the London reggae-punk band The Skints.
Waters Rudge joins bandmate Marcia Richards, who was previously announced as the voice of Lily.
We also see more of the daily cleaning and organizing tasks, and a wacky, weird look at the night’s paranormal investigation element.
“Adam is funny, earnest and a little bit out of his depth, which makes him a joy to write for,” said Anil Glendinning, creative director at Friday Sundae in a press release. “Josh brings exactly the right warmth and energy to him.”
“It’s been a lot of fun stepping into Adam’s shoes,” Josh Waters Rudge added to that same press release. “He’s got this big-hearted, action-movie idea of what being a police officer should be, but the town has a lot more going on than he realizes. The music and the world of the game really clicked with me, especially with its ska and reggae influences.”
There Are No Ghosts at the Grand currently has a demo and a wishlist button on Steam. Currently, check-in is slated for later this year on PC and Xbox Series .
