While this isn’t a sequel to The World Ends with You, it is an exciting piece of news.
Of course, the port on Switch is excellent but it still doesn’t compare to the original game on Nintendo DS. So, maybe this new anime which is currently counting down to the announcement might lead to a sequel? I doubt it but the thought would be nice.
We’ll learn which studio is working on the project when Anime Expo Lite begins. A lot of familiar studios are attending the convention, including Aniplex, Funimation and more.
