Just in time for the holidays, Telltale is releasing a complete collection of all of their Walking Dead titles. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection contains 19 episodes of their amazing Walking Dead series including Season 1, Season 2, New Frontier, 400 Days, and the Michonne Mini-series. On top of that, Season 1 will be graphically enhanced, greatly improving the original visuals.
Along with this announcement, Telltale also confirmed that Rogue One scribe, Gary Whitta, will be returning to the series as a Story Consultant for the fourth and final season of Clementine’s journey. Whitta was one of the writers on the award-winning first season of the game and will be collaborating to make sure the last season is the best.
“Collaborating with Telltale on the first season of Clementine’s journey through the world of The Walking Dead was one of the highlights of my career, so reuniting with them to now bring her story to a close with this final season feels like a homecoming,” said Whitta. “Clementine has become not just one of the most compelling characters in the Walking Dead pantheon but one of the great video game characters of all time. I hope we’re able to do justice to her and to her millions of fans. This one feels special.”
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Collection will be released on disc for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at retail locations across North America and Europe. It will be available digitally the same day as well. It has a msrp of $49.99USD. The Final Season will debut sometime next year.
