The Outer Worlds Arrives June 5 on Nintendo Switch

After delaying The Outer Worlds from its original March release date due to COVID-19, Obsidian Entertainment revealed that critically-acclaimed new IP is coming to Nintendo Switch in June.

Private Division confirmed the news today and are readying the game for commercial release with a proper physical release to boot. The extra time allowed a physical cart to be created so if you prefer going that route, it is available.

However, Obsidian also confirmed that there will be a massive day one patch that may take up to 6 GB of storage. This patch will optimize gameplay, provide additional hi-res textures, and include other fixes to provide the best gameplay experience.

I’m excited to get The Outer Worlds on a handheld device, which allows me to do some bite-sized gameplay sessions. The Outer Worlds arrives on June 5, 2020, on Nintendo Switch.
