Not one month after the rocky release of Assassin’s Creed Unity – Kotaku reports that the next title in the franchise, codenamed Victory is to be set in Victorian England. For years fans of the franchise have been asking Ubisoft for this setting and it looks to be finally coming true next fall.
Kotaku reports having seen several minutes of footage including an assassination and a fight atop a carriage in the screenshots below.
The game will be helmed by Ubisoft Quebec, which was reported to be helming the franchise in the future in order to give Montreal a break and letting someone else take charge since the first game in 2007.
The game is set for release next fall on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
