Per Gematsu via Famitsu, Falcom has revealed that The Legend of Heroes: Trails games have sold over seven million copies around the world.
The sales figure was last reported back on September 29, 2020, and revealed at that point the series had sold five million units. I’d say the boost in sales is considerable given the series has been considered niche for as long as I could remember.
Some hurdles including The Legend of Heroes being so far behind the Japanese release schedule make things difficult for those looking to get invested.
However, you can start your journey into the series today by picking up The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on Steam to get a feel for the world.
This week we reviewed The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero which launches this week on PlayStation 4, PC, and Switch. Next year we’ll see the sequel Trails to Azure arrive, also Trails into Reverie, and The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails.
