Naughty Dog and Sony have dropped a performance patch for The Last of Us Part 2 for PlayStation 5. The free update is out now and includes options to make the experience more enjoyable.
Once the patch is installed on your console, you’ll find a toggle in the Display options that allows you the choice of either Framerate Target of 30 FPS or 60 FPS. Other things the team has improved include an enhanced resolution, faster load times and more.
“The team has been digging into the PS5 hardware and the possibilities it unlocks since launch last year and we’re excited about what the future holds,” Arne Meyer, the Comms Manager at Naughty Dog say. “This patch is just the first step of working on the PS5. We’ll let you know when we’ve got more news to share”
