The Last of Us HBO Season 2 Casts Danny Ramirez, Tati Gabrielle, Ariela Barer, Spencer Lord

Abby has found her Washington Liberation Front family in HBO’s The Last of Us season 2, with several new actors joining the cast in Alberta. Per Variety, Season 2 enlists Danny Ramirez, Tati Gabrielle, Ariela Barer, and Spencer Lord.

The four actors, Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Tati Gabrielle (You, Uncharted), Ariela Barer (Runaways), and Spencer Lord (Riverdale, Family Law) will play Manny, Nora, Mel, and Own respectively.

Ramirez’svManny is “a loyal soldier whose sunny outlook belies the pain of old wounds and a fear that he will fail his friends when they need him most.” Barer’s Mel is “a young doctor whose commitment to saving lives is challenged by the realities of war and tribalism.” Gabrielle’s Nora is “a military medic struggling to come to terms with the sins of her past.” And Lord’s Owen is “a gentle soul trapped in a warrior’s body, condemned to fight an enemy he refuses to hate.”

Pedro Pascal returns as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. The second season will also feature Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, and Kaitlyn Dever as Abby. Catherine O’Hara was also recently cast, but who she plays isn’t clear.
