Previously revealed at the Xbox & Bethesda Game Showcase in June last year, The Last Case of Benedict Fox from Plot Twist and Rogue Games is set to launch this April on Xbox consoles and PC.
Set in 1925, the gothic-inspired game stars detective Benedict Fox who works towards solving the fate of a family while also traversing a dark world made of emotions, all while battling a demon trapped in his body.
With a cult at your heels, you’ll dive into the consciousness of a deceased person. This means things will not be as they seem and you’ll encounter dangers filled with emotions and painful memories. It is up to you as Benedict Fox to find the clues and solve the mystery in front of you.
The Metroidvania title combines challenging combat with engaging storytelling. While there isn’t much to really gauge this claim, what we’ve seen so far looks great and I’m going to be keeping on eye out for this title as the release draws nearer.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox launches for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on Day One. A demo is up on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest happening this month.
