The Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo is Out Now

While it isn’t the entire game out and available to purchase, Square Enix has released a demo for the hotly-anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake today.

As well as the demo being released to the public, journalists are also posting their impressions of a hands-on preview Square Enix invited press to last week, with our impressions available here.

The demo is the first chapter of the remake, set within the iconic Mako Reactor 1, which is the first mission of the original and remake. You can download the demo at the link. Progress doesn’t carry over into the retail release though, so keep that in mind.

And if you play the demo, you’ll also be able to unlock an exclusive theme that unlocks when the game launches on April 10, 2020.
