Last summer saw the introductory episode of The Dark Picture Anthology, which began with Man of Medan, a supernatural thriller set in the Pacific Ocean. Supermassive Games teased the second episode at the end of the first episode, which was called Little Hope.
What I like about the series is how the developers use real-life events to spin their tales of dread. Each story includes their own characters and problems, and sometimes even supernatural forces fighting against them.
We’ve been delighted by the reaction from players and the success of Man of Medan as the first instalment of The Dark Pictures Anthology,” said Supermassive Games CEO Pete Samuels in a press release. “We really appreciate feedback from the community and the team remains committed to the goal of making each new instalment deliver further thrilling horror experiences, with the next chapter, Little Hope, bringing an all-new and disturbing horror story to the anthology.”
Little Hope is about four college students trapped in the abandoned town of Little Hope, and with their professor must escape the horrors they find there.
