Street Fighter 6 may still be leading the fighting games scene, but Bandai Namco Entertainment’s eighth entry into its Tekken franchise is set to punch its way onto PC and consoles next year.
However, that doesn’t mean the much-loved fighter isn’t putting some serious muscle behind advertising for the game!
On July 21, Bandai Namco is putting on a hard-hitting panel at San Diego Comic-Con with boxing legend Mike Tyson, MMA super slammer Cris Cyborg, and WWE’s most colourful hitman, Austin Creed.
They join the game’s director, Katsuhiro Harada, and producer, Michael Murray, while back-to-back “Seven-Golden-Letters-getter” Goldenboy gets the luck of moderating.
The Tekken 8 panel at SDCC will allow its assembled pro fighters to share stories from their careers to honour and appreciate their fighting arts.
There will also be a focus on how Bandi Namco Entertainment brings a roster of fighters with diverse styles based on more than 21 martial arts to Tekken 8.
So, if you are in town for SDCC, check out the Tekken 8 panel on Friday, July 21st, from 2:00 to 3 PM PDT in Room 6BCF. Additionally, find the Tekken 8 booth on the show floor for artwork, a non-alcoholic beverage station, DJ, cosplayers, temporary tattoos, playable stations, and more.
