Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate

Go Rogue with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate on Switch This July

Previously only on mobile devices

Cowabunga friends! The heroes in a half shell are heading to Nintendo Switch in a new way with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate.

It’s a title that lived exclusively on Apple Arcade, debuting in 2023. But this is no ordinary TMNT beat’em up; this is a roguelike action game that lets you take control of any of the four turtles to stop Shredder and other baddies through the city and its sewers.

Developed by Super Evil Megacorp, in collaboration with Paramount Game Studios, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is a great new way to bring classic crime fighters to a new audience. Controlling each of the four turtles, you can upgrade their stats and abilities with new moves and passive assists. Each has a unique move set that suits their weapon of choice and personality.

Four different environments exist across New York, including the sewers, docks, city streets, and rooftops. Like many other roguelikes, each one will be protected by a boss fight.

I’ve played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate on iPad, dishing out the turtle power for several hours. I love the TMNT IP and had to give it a shot. It was a struggle on my handheld, but once I used my Xbox controller via Bluetooth, I had an absolute blast with it! Judging by my personal 10-or-so hours with the game last year, I’m confident this will sit well with fans on the Switch.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is scheduled for release this July.
