Team17, the indie publisher out of the UK, is laying off almost 50 roles. The news will likely affect those in the QA department.
Speaking to Eurogamer, sources familiar with the restructure understand that the entire department is shuttering, with those roles being shifted externally. Those most affected roles from the documents indicate junior QA analysts are affected the most.
This is the second round of layoff at Team17, who suffered redundancies earlier this year.
Sources also spoke on y CEO Michael Pattison departing the company after he took over for Debbie Bestwick earlier this year.
Last week, Sega announced it was cancelling Hyenas, causing layoffs at Creative Assembly, while layoffs hit Mediatonic due to Epic Games restructuring.
