Did you know that Nintendo has applied a bittering agent to the Switch cartridges? I didn’t but Giant Bomb’s Jeff Gerstmann and Kotaku’s Mike Fahey have become the resident experts on what those tiny cartridges taste like by trying to eat them!
I put that Switch cart in my mouth and I'm not sure what those things are made of but I can still taste it. Do not try this at home.

Nintendo has intentionally been dousing the cartridges with an agent called denatonium benzoate, this deters people (younger children) to swallow the tiny piece of plastic by leaving a bitter taste in your mouth that won’t go away.
I am not Snacktaku-ing Switch carts. Though I guess I have already played Skylanders…

I like the idea and this makes a lot of sense when your brand is immensely popular with younger children, this also helps Nintendo be at fault for having children decide to swallow them.
