Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is currently being remade for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam. The game originally launched way back in 2006 and is now being remade under the name of Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball.
According to Kotaku, the word tabegoro means “ripe for eating,” so it’s likely that we’ll see some new features in addition to the remade title.
Right now there is very little information on what the new game is about, but we know that it launches on October 31, 2019 in Japan. No word on a Western launch, but I’m certainly hoping we see something come to fruition.
