Super Mario Bros. Wonder Releases Six-Minute Overview Trailer

Less than a month before its release, Nintendo released a new Super Mario Bros. Wonder overview trailer that dives into more details of the upcoming Mario entry.

The full video is over six and a half minutes long and covers the game’s story, playable character, power-ups, badge system, online, and more. Some of the locations featured in the trailer include Pipe-Rock Plateau, Fluff-Puff Peaks, and Petal Isles, which showed off Super Mario Bros. Wonder’s new power-ups, Bubble, Drill, and, of course, the new ability for Mario’s cast of characters to transform into a bipedal Elephant.

There is not too much new stuff for those who watched the game’s most recent Direct from earlier this month, but it’s nice to have all that information compacted into one video. The new 2D Super Mario game was announced at a June Nintendo Direct presentation following Summer Game Fest celebrations.

The upcoming Nintendo title feels like a long time coming as the last true mainline 2D Mario game was New Super Mario Bros. U in 2012, a launch Wii U title, so that tells you it’s been quite a while.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is set to launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on October 20th.
