Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2021 Online is read to begin this weekend and we’ve got the full schedule full of diverse speed runs. Last year’s event raised over $2.3 million for charity, and building off that momentum, this year is looking to build on that.
We’ve highlighted some of the events that you should watch out for previously, here are some more events to check out, including Ghosts ‘N Goblins Resurrection by TheMexicanRunner, a perfect-score GeoGuessr playthrough by havrd, a four-way Ristar race between chronoon, Lizstar, ShimeGabriel, and Haram_Scaram, a blindfolded run of Super Mario 64 by Bubzia, and a Super Metroid race between Oatsngoats, Behemoth87, and ShinyZeni.
SGDQ 2021 Online will support Doctors Without Borders and if you’re watching, you can donate on the Games Done Quick homepage to support the charity. All donations will go directly to the charity.
In previous years we’ve seen Games Done Quick support AbleGamers, Organization for Autism Research, and Prevent Cancer Foundation. To date, Games Done Quick has raised over $31 million in total for charity.
